Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of experience required - First-time travelers welcome - EKG exam required Description: Travelers are subject to float between various campuses. Shifts are 3x12, Days from 07:00 to 19:30. Every other weekend and holidays as needed. No call required. All patients in the department are remotely monitored. The department includes private patient rooms and centralized nursing stations. Services provided in this department support moderately complex patients. Comprehensive nursing care is provided 24/7 by registered nursing staff. Support staff includes technicians, secretaries, and rehabilitation therapists. Centralized cardiac surveillance is provided for all patients. A designated Charge Nurse is present each shift. Clinical progression opportunities are available within the nursing staff. The target census is 35 patients, consistently caring for up to 45 patients per day. Floating may occur to any campus as needed. All RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam. EMR experience is required. Candidates with open background cases are not eligible. Current driver's license is required to verify address.
