Maintain and improve outdoor space by planting, watering, and fertilizing vegetation, trimming trees and shrubs, mowing lawns and operating machinery like blowers and mowers. They also install hardscapes (walkways, patios), apply mulch, remove debris and assist in designing and implementing landscapes. This role requires high stamina for strenuous physical labor in various weather conditions. Core Responsibilities : - Landscape Maintenance : Mowing, edging, weed control, and raking as well as weeding and mulching flower beds. - Painting and Care : Planting, pruning and trimming trees, shrubs, and flowers, watering lawns and gardens. - Hardscaping and Installation : Assisting in the construction of walkways, patios, walls, and fencing. - Equipment Operations : Utilizing mowers, tractors, chainsaws, hedge trimmers, and leaf blowers. - Site Cleanup : Removing trash, leaves, and debris from work areas. - Safety and Logistics : Loading, unloading equipment, transporting materials, and ensuring safe operation of tools. Requirements and Qualifications : - Physical Stamina : Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for long periods and lift at least 50 lbs. - Experience : Previous experience in landscaping or a similar outdoor role is often preferred though not required. - License : A valid driver's license is often preferred. - Work Environment - Physical Labor : Requires working outdoors in various, and sometimes extreme weather conditions.
